Golden Seeds company, BMI OrganBank’s kidney preservation device, has received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, recognizing its great promise to transform kidney transplant care. Their room temperature machine perfusion (RTMP) platform aims to extend preservation times and improve kidney function assessment, with the goal of expanding access to lifesaving transplants.
